In the Super Street issue that features the Genesis tuned by HKS, The Engine model number they quote is "4B11." My question is this. Is it the same engine in the Evo x (4B11T) or are the model numbers just a coincidence? If It is a tuned down version of the Evo's motor, we will come out the gate with a huge aftermarket already waiting for us. Has anyone gotten any info on this?

I had found this previously, seems it's a Ralliart motor not the Evo Motor;

Thanks for the link... Regardless.. I think the engine has a good deal of potential. People were saying they were worried about it being an open block engine.. But the stock engine should be able to handle 350whp without problem.. If you want to make more than that, definately recommended that you sleeve it and get some stronger internals

I agree, I think it will still prove a great motor for mods, and will still have much aftermarket support.
