No..I'm neither (Hyundai Manager or Bodyshop) Just a guy that Loves his Genesis Coupe and spending WAY to much on it...But I can't stop. Hyundai is doing the bodykit install and Importshark has sold me most of the parts and kits.
June 2 Red goes to the autobody shop (again) for touch ups, and replacement of poor quality Lux Gen logo to Genesis Wing. (photos to follow in the week ahead!
Cold Air intake done.....It's not as simple as one may think. The new OEM cold air intake is quite the biatch to install on the 3.8. (Replace washer tank, reroute washer line, remove front passenger tire & well liner (including everytime you want to change filter)
This car handles beautifully on ice (helps having $1700 winter tires), but the traction control is superb! When the traction control turns-on mid drifting sideways....it feels like you hit a wall and shoot straight forward! I love this car! It's definetly helped out with getting some girls attention!
I can't wait to go on a road trip this summer across America!
Next small project for Red..... Remove the "H" wheelcaps and replace with the "Genesis' Wing caps!
Car out of the autobody shop! Now sitting in the garage....waiting for winter tires. Three months of waiting for Blizzaks. Guys at Kaltire for some reason have never had to order a 19" low profile winter tire before.
Friday if it doesn't snow...goto Hyundai for Reds first service/undercoating/leather protection.
