Default Ferrari Inspired Genesis

Star drift-car driver Rhys Millen is heading to this year's SEMA show with a 500-hp, Ferrari-inspired Genesis coupe with an exotic mid-engine configuration. Meanwhile, California tuners GReddy Performance Parts are bringing a gaudy creation dubbed the X-Gen Street Genesis coupe that pumps out 350 hp.

Millen, who brought a Genesis coupe with drift styling cues to SEMA last year, returns for an encore by dropping the Tau V8 from the Genesis sedan into the back of the coupe, where it's visible through the rear hatch. This powerplant is paired with a five-speed sequential transmission, and top speed is expected to be a whopping 182 mph.

Called the RMR (for Rhys Millen Racing) RM460 Genesis coupe, it also gets a body kit, carbon-fiber spoiler and custom carbon-fiber hatch. It rides on 20-inch wheels, Toyo T1R tires and upgraded brakes. The car employs most of the existing chassis parts but is fortified with coil-over components. The interior gets sports seats, more carbon-fiber parts and a power amplifier. Millen, who also is the Hyundai motorsports chief, says he crafted the car based on the head-turning Ferrari 599XX. In that vein, the SEMA show car is painted a red color that recalls the Scuderia race cars, and its low profile is a nod to great Ferraris past and present.

That looks nice and clean. The 599 is my favorite Ferrari so good start.
